Floating Candle Center Pieces for the Holidays

Updated: Nov 21

These floating candles are so easy to make and so pretty to have on the dining table. Many folks are hopping back on the “90’s Christmas” train once again. By 90’s Christmas, I think we all just want our homes and memories for our kids to feel nostalgic and just like a more classic Christmas that we knew, and loved. There is a reason Christmas always felt so magical. The bright reds and greens vs the popular new black, white, and beige Christmas decor. Don’t get me wrong. I almost started to sway that way but when it came down to it, red and green Christmas just feels more “homey”. These candle center pieces are easily made with supplies you have laying around the house and give you that rustic country holiday feel we crave during the “ ‘ber ” months.

Ingredients:

  •  I used the Bee Healthy Beeswax Tea Lights (NF2195)  from Azure. These are great because they come in a box of 12 instead of singles and are just the right size!

Instructions:

  1. Place pine cone in first, or some sort of greenery to fill bottom of jar.

  2. Add in approximately 10 cranberries. Really just enough to cradle around the candle once it’s placed.

  3.  Fill the jars with water, leaving about an inch room from the top. The water will make the greenery and berries float to the top.

  4. Place tea light on top of the cranberries.

  5. If you want to decorate your jar up more. Feel free to add some festive ribbon around the top of the jar.

  6. Light Candles and enjoy the rustic warm ambiance!
