I may be behind the times a bit when it comes to Matcha Lattes. I recently tried a Vanilla Matcha Latte at the Dufur Market and it was Heavenly. I am all about a quick easy recipe. Especially when it comes to my daily pick me ups. Coffee does not always sit right and sometimes I end up with headaches and a crash towards the afternoon.
Not necessarily a “Holiday” recipe. However, the pretty green color can be dressed up to feel like a christmassy drink this season. Add some cranberries to the top to give it the red and green Christmas Vibes in your favorite Azure Canning Co. Jar. While it is cold and flu season, it seems like a good time to start drinking your daily Matcha Latte to boost those immune systems!
Matcha is extremely nutrient rich, it’s a great source of vitamins, minerals, and fiber, including vitamin C, magnesium, and selenium. Don’t let the green color scare you off like it did me. This is a creamy-sweet recipe that you are sure to fall in love with. Feel free and experiment with it a little. You can make a hot drink in the morning or iced like I did in this recipe.

8 floz cold water
